I've seen these a couple other times on zoa rocks, but never got them to open up. Truly odd-looking, and captivating. Looking closely, you can see the external texture seems to be impregnated with tiny black crystals, almost like onyx dust. The polyps themselves are translucent and colorless like a lightly tinted crystal. Very long, delicate lashes. Perhaps Neozoanthus sp?
